I’m Wendy Gannon (most people call me wo0), an award-winning photographer and business strategy goblin for brilliant women who are done watering themselves down to look “professional”. I’m based in Kent and I shoot all over the UK and around the world.

My nickname is wo0 and has been since I was a kid. I lived at number 32 and my friend’s mum used to say “Here comes Wendy Woo from 32!” How I got the zero at the end is another story.

I started taking photos at raves and festivals over 20 years ago. I got into portrait photography when DJs wanted me to do their press shots.

I’m a chaotic (and absolutely hilarious) ADHD head and I bring my full personality into everything I do. I am my own best case study.

I founded Female Five Million, a movement that uses photography, storytelling and conversation to encourage women to take up space unapologetically.

Who am I?

I’m Wendy, a UK photographer with 20+ years behind the camera. Before “personal branding” was even a thing, I was out there photographing DJs, events and real humans in real environments. No bullshit, no airbrushed fake life. Just people, vibes and big feelings.

Photography has never been the whole point for me. It’s the tool I use to help women:

see themselves clearly (not as a watered-down LinkedIn version)
take up the space they actually deserve
stop squeezing themselves into whatever “professional” is supposed to mean

I don’t care about “perfection”. I care about you being fully yourself in your business, and having photos that back that up.

Who am I for?

FAQ

All the stuff you’re too polite to ask

I’m not photogenic. Is that a problem?

No. “Not photogenic” usually means “has only ever been photographed by someone who didn’t make me relax”. Most of my clients hate having their photo taken. That’s literally my job.

What should I wear?

Whatever makes you feel most like you on your best day. Not what you think “professional” looks like. Bring options, bring the outfit you’re scared to wear, and we’ll plan it together before the shoot.

How much does a branding shoot cost?

From £75 for secret location headshots up to £3000 for a 1:1 personality branding day. There’s also a £500/month subscription, £1500 group shoots and speaker photography, and The Icon Quad from £2500. Everything’s in Offers.

How do the £75 headshots work?

Pick your city (London, Rochester in Kent, or Birmingham) and sign up on the headshots page. A proper secret invitation then arrives in the post telling you where to go. You turn up, we have a laugh, and you walk away with a personality-led headshot that doesn’t look like everyone else’s. All for £75.

What if headshots or group shoots aren’t open?

They run on set dates and they fill up fast. If nothing’s open, jump on the waitlist for headshots or group shoots and you’ll be first in the queue when the next ones drop.

Where are you based?

I’m a UK photographer based in Kent, and I travel all over the UK and the world for shoots. Paris, anyone?

How long until I get my photos?

Usually about two weeks, and you get three rounds of edits. Sometimes I have busy periods (or a bit of executive dysfunction, hi ADHD), so it can take a little longer. Need them sooner? Tell me and I’ll see what I can do.

Can I use the photos anywhere?

If you’ve paid for a shoot with me, yes. You’ve got a licence to use your photos anywhere, no credit needed. The one exception is magazines and press: if your photo ends up in print or a publication, I need a credit (“Photo: wo0 photography”).

If you haven’t paid for a shoot and want to use one of my photos, it must have my logo on it and credit me. If not, you’ll get a hefty invoice for copyright infringement. Nobody wants that.

What’s a discovery call?

A free chat where we work out what you actually need, what your business is trying to say and which shoot fits. No hard sell. I’m too ADHD for scripts anyway.

Do you only work with women?

Nope, I work with all genders. A lot of my clients are women who are done shrinking themselves to fit in, but everyone’s welcome. The only people I don’t work with are dicks.
